We finished the bottom row of screws and the last bit of ridge cap on the roof today. We're readying for a visit from the inspector in the next week or so.Scaling the slippery roof was assisted by a climbing harness with a rope attached to the car hitch and flung over the house.
Hurricane season is a tense time, but storms brewing brought cool breezes and cloud cover to the building site. What a relief from the sweltering days of recent memory.
